Though I am a Board member, details of their (other board members) phone conversations are not shared with me. They communicate amoung themselves, hire pool sitters, spend lots of money for entertaining. Is this OK? Before this current Board took control, we never had ill feelings, never over spent on payroll, and always had a full house at each monthly meeting. Now only a hand full of residents attend meetings. The residents do not want to attend meetings, since this Board is out for themselves.

Now that this new board is in control, we had 4 pool sitters, I still do not know who is doing the hiring, our reserves are in the RED, our Work Comp is sky high due to 2 employees injuries. Who should do the hiring of Club House employees?

Please help us.

Wow - so many things here.

Phone conversations are NOt official HOA business and board members should not be conducting business over the phone. Remind your fellow board members of that.

How are worker's comp claims the fault of the board?

Why is large number of resident attendance at board meetings so important?

Reserves being in the red is not uncommon, but should have a plan to rectify.

The residents no longer want to participate since there is so much fraud going on.

The Work Comp claims are a result of the Board hiring their personal friends.

You all are wonderful to have replied to my email.
Thanks a million

If the majority of homeowners think that these Board members are not acting in the best interest of the HOA; then they should get together and re-call them and replace them with members willing to do the work.

Studies show that 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions
