Can anybody direct me where to go for D&O insurance? I am a board member for a small HOA association. We are based in Texas. Any help woukd be great.

I live in Ca. but our d&o turned out to be utterly worthless. it's farmers. do not buy farmers. you MUST go to sophisticated agent who specializes in HOA coverages and get monolines or custom lines to fit your requirements. our policy did not cover non-damages lawsuits, that means that 4 members of a six member assn. are paying the lawyers to defend one of the homeowner's lawsuits against the board for violations of condo law.
We are all being ruined by this. Please study this issue carefully and interview many agents to make sure you are covered for everything.
And never, never Farmers.
