Too late, we realized that the Board would have to revitalize the C&R's since they were "extinguished" by MRTA several years ago and the 30 year deadline and come and gone. The job seems overwhelming! Where to start? Do we need an attorney? Any articles out there that would outline steps 1,2,3,4? I know it is a very broad subject and I have read that the Board can only update the C&R's and not make them more restrictive, but who is the person who is reviewing that? References to articles most appreciated.

Since the 30 year deadline has come and gone I would contact the attorney ASAP. As I understand the Marketable Record Title Act all is not lost but it will be more difficult than if the Board had paid attention and marked its calendar.
