This is probably right in front of my face somewhere, but how does one do a search on member names to call up all threads started by that member?

I tried the Search function, but it seems to be searching only on post content, not subject or author.

Any clues?

MicheleD, I clicked on search and type "RogerB". It brought forth posts by RogerB.

Michele, what I do when looking for a thread started by someone specific is use the control + F and enter their name. Then I go back to when I think it was posted and check page by page until I find what I'm looking for. If you enter the name in the search as Roger stated it just brings up all of the RogerB posts not the ones he started.

Glen,
Do you type in the search box (Yes, I am this dumb)

Control hold down, hold down shift also, type + F, let off control key and shift key and type name.

Michael, there are times I put in names and can't bring anything up (no I didn't mean last night's supper)

I still think the search page is not as good as it could be.............grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

Robert if you hit the ctrl key and the F key at the same time a search window should open at the bottom of the page, at least it does in Firefox, enter what you are searching for. Now it only searches the page you are on so like Michele's question where she was searching for a post that someone started you would do it from the topics page. If you got no response or if you did and its not the right one then you would go to page two etc. until you find what you want. Now a lot of time I'll remember the post was say in Jan. so I'll jump to the end of Dec. and work my way forward. This works unless someone posted to it in say March then I have a few pages to go through.
