I am on a volunteer finance committee where we are requesting the prior year phone recoreds to verify the out of control increase of 62% for one of the fax numbers. The management and board are refusing to turn over these records, so it seems there is a problem they do not want to disclose to the finanace committee. At first they used stall tactics, then a final email sent to us staing they are not going to comply.
Aren't they by law obligated to turn these records over? And what law forces them to do it? Thank you for any help.

DH,

Try this link to Davis-Stirling.com. It is Section 1365.2 which deal with the Inspection of Books and Records of an Association.

People still use fax machines anymore? Who knew.

It would seem that even ONE use would be a huge increase!

Just kidding.
