Contract Security

Ginger, when I was President of a subdivision outside Houston many years ago I looked into hiring a security company. At that time I found out that most of the thefts were by the lowly paid security guards. Also, they occured during the daytime while people were at work. I do not know if it is the same today but would assume it is.

Rather than hiring a security company we did two things. Installed street lights and started a neighborhood watch program in coordination with the sherrif's office. I organized the nearby subdivisions and all of us helped support a local office for a duputy.

It sounds like you need a pool service company more so than a security company? A pool service company could provide lifeguards and they would be bonded and responsible for keeping facilities secure. Also, if security is the main consideration, check with your county sheriff's dept.; many deputies take patrolling and guard jobs (like in banks, discount club stores, patrolling neighborhoods, etc.) in addition to their deputy jobs.
