Hello All,
I am in Gainesville Ga. WE are trying to clean up our subdivision. We have sent certified letters to violators. What is the next step for us to do if they do not pick the letter up. The ccr's state" The board shall provide written notice" The board opted to send them certified. Since the violators didn't pick up these certified letters do we need to send another letter 1st class stating they have 30 days, or can we go to the next (15 days until fines letter) 30 days from the time of cerified mailing.
Thanks for your help,
MIssy

Missy, to comply with "The board shall provide written notice" you could send first class mail, email, hand deliver, and/or post notice to the property. I would also keep the returned certified letter.
