Hi all,

I know two properties and their subdivisions,but cannot find their HOA and Management office.They are Westbury 1 and Linkwood subdivision.
I know HOA is Woodchase Village Owners Association,but I cannot find the management office.
Can you help me?

Jeff, if they are incorporated you can find their registered agent's information and contact them. Go to your state's web page for your Secretary of State; then go to Corportations and do a search for the HOAs by name.

Find an owner, ask what you want to know, tell will usually be able to answer your questions along with a lot more, lol. Remember, don't believe everything that you hear. Ha Ha

Hi all,

I am a new staff at one property management office.Due to no system and no training,I have to face too many questions.

right now I need to find HOA and pay HOA fees.However, there are no any record in my folder.Even have HOA's name and mgmt office name,it is wrong number...

What I can do?

Isn't it ridiculous that you do not know who your management company is from the beginning? First of all, at closing (and I live in the Houston area also) they usually take your assessments prorated for the year in figuring your down-payment and cost of home and the title company has the name of the management company that that money is sent to. Otherwise, go to www.hoadata.org and look under names of subdivisions and it might have the name of the management company for your subdivision name. Unfortunately, this website is primarily about foreclosure lawyers, which as you will see is a racket in TX, but if you pay your assessments you won't have to worry about that--I say don't provide them an opportunity to abuse you--but it's interesting information.
