Do many of you have a Policy and Procedure manual? If so, what are your tabs like?

Thanks!

Policy and Procedure Manual in reference to what?

I have a P & P Manual for where I work.

Your documents, by-laws, rules, regulations, etc are the P,P &M for your Association.

Are you looking for guidelines for your Board to follow?

I'm confused. Doesn't take much...but we need more info, thanks!

Tracie,
I would expect there are many that have Policy and/or Procedure manuals.

But understand all "Policies" are association specific, written by the Board to address specific issure. They are not By=laws or covenants, they are functional steps to accomplish specific tasks.

Decide what you want to do and what it will accomplish, then right a rule of how to do it. Call in the "Whatever Policy" and put it in a Book after informing members and call the Book Policy Manuals.

Your problem is not going to be how to write it down, your problem is going to be getting the Board to care enough to write it. Usually done best by a committee appointment and final edit by the Board.

Lon,

We have an owners manual that has all the governing documents and resolutions which is provided to all members.

The Board adopts resolutions as needed and places them in a book.

Glen previously provided a list of resolutions that all associations should have. If this is what you are thinking about as policies and procedures, I've attached a copy of Glens' list.
