We are trying to get our Homeowner Assoc. off on the right foot. Having lots of problems and would like to get some ideas on Homeowner Assoc. for Mobile Homes. We are register with the Federal Government and we have a weak By Laws and would like to inprove. Any Ideas? Would appreciate some. Thank You!

You say you have by-laws they are just “weak”. Do you have any established HOA? Do you have a BOD? Do you have dues (assessments)? Was this an HOA community from the beginning? I’m hoping these questions will help others give you the advice you are searching for. It’s a big job, but one that can be done.

We have a HOA. Yes it is weak and we just started it because the owner has said that she would do things in the Park and nothing as of yet. We would like to establish dues but they are up in arms about it saying that it is not right. Greatly in need of knowing were I can get the information by the law or otherwise to help. Would greatly appreciate any information I can get to give the people to know what there rights are and that the HOA is for the people not clicks. Thanks!

Search the california statutes for any manufactured home laws. Florida has statute 723 that dictates HOA rules and regs. How to set up bylaws etc. This should be easy enough.

I also was going to suggest Florid Statute 723 as this is quite complete and has worked for the millions of mobile homes that are in Florida. Good luck to you.
