Who would be able to tell me how I go about getting permission or whatever I need to put the New Condo Buyer video on our community website? The video is on the Community Associations Network site.

Thanks,

Dana

Click on the link (you might have to copy and paste) and then click the link for "Welcome to your Condo"
http://www.communityassociations.net/owners_new.html

It is a video that I've noticed some associations have put on their websites. We are now building a website and I'd like to put the video on it but my concern is copyright infringement.

Dana,

On the Community Assn website, I found this disclaimer under "policies""

"The material on this site is for reference only. You do not have the right to reproduce or publish any of the information without the express written consent of either CAN in the case of original content, or the author of the specific content. If the content is found through a link from this site to another site, check the copyright or re-print policies on that site."

I would suggest sending them an email to ask permission to include the video on your assn's website.

Thanks Mary, will you let me know what they say?

Kidding.

I'll shoot the email off.
