Judgements in Small Claims Court - AZ

For my fellow Arizonians, have you used small claims court to try to get homeowners to pay their fees as opposed to going into regular court? We are getting a proposal to go the small claims court without all the legal fees and the dollars seem much smaller. I am concerned we might be missing some of the reasons not to go this route. Any experience/advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
