I just read this article on the Home Page. Here is a perfect example of how just one guy who cannot get the concept of living under reasonable HOA rules, can cost an entire community beyond the norm. Why doesn't he just leave?

Here is a PERFECT example of people who cause an HOA numerous headaches!!! He DOES have an option....he can MOVE. Stuff like this makes me sick. Another person who expects the ENTIRE association to change for HIM. It doesn't work that way.

Anna,

So right..the best thing we can do with this type of people is to ignore them. They are so needy for attention.

Donna,

L just read this article. This fellow sounds a little off balanced. First he says he will "fight until it drains his life savings" and then "they are trying to run up the price until I can't afford it". He has several choices..abide by the covenants and call off his lawsuit or move. Let's hope the hoa prevails and that he gets the mental help it is evident he needs.

Keep in mind this guy fired the first shot when he sued the HOA for the cost of the stain (or paint) where the sprinklers hit the fence.

To be honest, I think the guy needs some guidance with living with people in general. Suing over the cost of maintenance because of sprinkler spray is just crazy. Then also, he wanted to withdraw from a settlement agreement.

But it is truly amazing how someone can get upset when they try to intimidate a person or group only to find out that the other side has more power.
