the other post "angry resident" does not really reflect the discussion that ensued and thus I decided to enter a new thread.
I'd like to add that a few "letter of intent to lien" have been mailed by attorney. I've been told that here in Florida homeowners have 45 days to correct situation before a lien can be filed. So it'd be probably be best to wait until January to publish delinquent report on our website. I'd like to see what our delinquency report shows as of 12/31. The board has recently vote to increase our assessment by 10% in 2009, which in FL they can. IMO, that's better than a special assessment later. However, my concern is that we'll probably have a higher rate of delinquency by 3/30/09.

Our new pro. mgmt. co is actively pursuing delinquent accounts, which had not been done in the past. Our delinquency is at 9%, and the report shows lot address not names. You don't have to publish the homeowner's name. That's not necessary. However, address of house on website, why not ??? Owners come and go but the lot/parcel remains the same.
