Interesting article (but way too short a list) about the qualities a good condo president should have:

Somehow they missed the patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon (along with an auto-renewable Prozac prescription)

I'm surprised that they did not emphasize that a good president should know how to lead a meeting.

Most meetings fall apart because the president can't or does not keep the meeting under control. A good handle on governing documents is needed and knowledge of some kind of parliamentary procedure (Roberts Rules or other) helps. Time management for the actual meeting is necessary, too.

Our president - a nice, kind of sanquine guy - is totally overwhelmed with all the things coming at him. He can't prioritize, control the meeting, and he does not know how to delegate. He does not know our bylaws. Ability to follow-up on issues is also lacking.

He did not attend the last meeting. The grape vine is saying he wants out.
Should be interesting.
