I have read recently a post on CCTV's on HOATALK and what they can do or prevent?

We installed these cameras early this year. One on our front door and our lobby and throught the building. We have had no visitors to our pool or spa.. or I should say trespassers since these were installed and sings throughout the building.

This last week early in the morning I was leaving for work and noted a huge huge puddle of what I assummed as dog urine. I knew it happened early that am as I was in the lobby the night befor at 10pm and it was clear.

I called tohave it cleaned up by our janitorial servcie. Please be aware this has happened a couple of times this year before this incident, but since I knew it must of happened in a short time span from 10p to 6 am we decided to veiw the dvr and see who's dog is urinating in the lobby.

To make it short, at 415 am our local paper delivery woman came on the property and she entered the lobby, pushed the button for the elevator, what you see her do next? Put her papers down and walk to the side of the lobby right in front of the camera, drop her pants, urinate, pull them back up and go to deliver her papers!!

I will say that there has also been reported incidents of urine in the elevator and I plan on asking our pm to review how many of these calls have been placed over the last year alone, I know at least 4-5 form me alone!

Our newspaper service has been notified via email and we are having the local police take a report as at least here it is a citable offiense minimally.

There is certainly a deterent effect for cameras. But I would point out that this does not actually stop an action from happening. What it does do is allow you to show who did the action (some of the time).

Thanks Kirk! I am still in a bit of shock of our viewing.

I look forward to hear from the newspaper itself. Due to it being the weekend, this will have to wait.

I'd post it on Youtube.

But seriously....she is certainly creating a health hazard; spreading bodily fluids where others are subject to coming in contact with them this should certainly be taken seriously.

I'd suggest a police officer be nearby when she makes her morning deliveries. I have a strong feeling she may (also) be arrested for drunk driving at the time of the morning.

Well, it turns out that the paper's big wigs came out today to view this video. They admitted it was thier employee, offered the excuse she is special needs and they didn't offer to pay for the cleaning involved.

We are tabling this until our next meeting to see if any action or not will be taken on.

I don't buy it. My wife is a job coach for people with special needs. If this person has issues that cause her to do something like this then she should probably have a job coach with her.

Whether they offer to pay for the cleaning or not, you should definitely send them the bill. And insist on a new carrier.
