Don't know if you read the court document or not. But I don't accept that their actions have any relation to free speech. They have files many appeals several based on moot points. For instance, they filed an appeal for a seizure warrant that was already expired and thus of no legal value. They also filed an appeal based on a denied motion for a change of venue. While they would have been legitimate in appealing the denial in change of venue, to appeal a decision based on lack of jurisdiction is just a burden to the court system.

To be honest, they are yelling too loud for me to begin to figure out what their point is. I know they don't believe in HOAs at all. But there really are people who want to live where there is an HOA. And I don't mean that they simply want the benefit. I have met several people who only considered properties that were in mandatory HOAs. This would include one who has a love/hate relationship.

They are in the category of people who think they know what's best for everyone! Because they don't like HOAs; no one should. And anyone who does is an idiot! Their thinking, not mine.

I have to disagree with some of the views presented here. AHRC was a central forum for exposing crime and fraud within community association boards and professionals. Examples of corruption still are posted on this newsfeed. AHRC helped in passing state legislation that protects an individual's investment in their home. Some AHRC contributors were over the top but at 1 million hits a day, AHRC helped more homeowners than they hurt.

Were these examples of corruption documented or just the poster's opinion? The number of hits per day is certainly not an indication of how many h/o's were helped by this website. Exactly what state legislation was passed by the efforts of AHRC -- what state, what laws????

I wasn't saying anything about their site. The fact is that more then one judge has now ruled that they are abusing the court system. In fact, they were prevented from filing motions in their case at the end because of their abuse there.

But since you mention the site, I did look at their site. I very much don't want to become one of "those" Board members. But I saw nothing for myself. All I personally saw were items bashing HOAs. As I recall they hold a position of no foreclosure for any reason. And the consider any foreclosure to be abuse of power.

Further I saw nothing practical for those facing their HOAs. I didn't see anyplace where they gave suggestions on how to present a good case to the Board. They didn't speak at all about how to be a good neighbor. I saw nothing about how to start the process of amending your documents if you don't like the rules.

All I saw was accusations of abuse when a Board tried to enforce any rule no matter how reasonable.
