Was wondering, when an association is formed, in most cases (not all I'm sure), that developers get them started for a variety of reasons. Is there a usual "Life Span" of an HOA?

Who or what will usually determine this, any ideas?

Thanks for the feedback.

The life span of your association depends on your letters of incorporation/declaration/covenants/etc.

Some are written to last in perpetuity, some for a period of years, but automatically renewable if not contested or dissolved. refer to the documents and you should find an answer.

Thanks Lisa, I'll have to look into that one.
