I keep seeing references to a CA person who has a newspaper column and wrote a book on HOAs. I read the LA Times and the only column I've seen is a Q&A. The byline, though, is two people. Would someone mind emailing me at [email protected] with the name of this person? I am very curious-thanks much! Emma

Donie is also the author of the West Group treatise, "California Common Interest Development - Homeowner's Guide" on the Davis-Stirling Act. West Group, for those not knowledgeable, is the leading publisher of case reporters, treatises and texts on the law.

I had not heard of Vanitzian until now. I wonder where I have been. I probably passed over the name hundreds of time in web research. Now, however, I am paying attention.

There is some truth in every point of view. Every viewpoint is worthy of consideration.
