Our Home Owners Association is having a disagreement among its members.

My question is can anyone furnish us with the contact information of

the state agency that is responsible for the over-sight, interpretation,

and enforcement of Florida statute 720?

The State Attorney General's office is the last, highest resource for enforcement. But way before you get there, each district has an omsbudsman who will hear disputes of HOAs and any members. But before you get THAT far, you have to know as a member or Board member, what your own documents say. Most times. most items can be settled long before you have to get the State involved. And they are very selective as to what they will get involved in.

Your HOA is having a "disagreement" among its members? I'll bet that most of us on this site can help if you tell us your story. You say members? Is that Board or homeowners?

Donna is correct......Look at your Covenants, Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws for quidence. 720 will direct you to those controling documents. Most of the time it is just a matter of educating the folks.
Remember, if your controling documents conflict with Florida law, the law takes precedence.
Good luck...Jim
