Our pool was recently resurfaced, tiled and decking replaced. That was less than a year ago.

The handles on the pool and jacuzzi are visibly loose and have rust stains.. all of which are new. Our vendor never responded to our request to fix the issue. Our atty stepped up and they acted promptly.

They quickly stated that our jacuzzis water is too high and that there is too much chorlne in the water.. which is causing the rust and loosing of the mentioned items.

I don't know about this, but it sounds fishy. The work done cost us $11K

Was there any guarantee/warantee with the contract with this vendor? Sounds fishy to me too. You might try small claims to recover costs of repairs.

Be ready to prove that it was faulty installation or shoddy hardware.

They will claim that it's a matter of "customer-use fault"

Somewhere in this mess, there is the truth.

Cypress Bend HOA is getting ready for to resurface our pool. The BOD has put together a committee to check out the potential contractors. How did you choose the contractor?
