Our officer's signed bylaws approving transfer of property from developer to HOA 2 months ago yet nothing appears to be completed yet, ie transfer of common property. What timeframe do these transfers typically occur at? Should we be following up with the atty yet?

IMO, all the developer has to do is record an amended deed transferring the common areas to the assn. This deed would then be given to the BOD. I'm not sure what papers the BOD had to sign. However, if it's been 2 months, I see no reason why the BOD cannot contact the attorney as ask what the hold up is.
