In our 160 Condo area, we would like to get a roof inspector(not a roof builder) to look and give a good assessment of the conditions of ourroofs.Anyone have experience in "interviewing" such an individual/group? types of questions to ask to verify their qualifications, etc?

Alex a state licensed structural engineer would be able to look over the roofs condition and give you a detailed report on their condition. If repairs are necessary s/he would be able to draft the specifications for the repairs to put it out for bid.

Studies show that 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions

Alex,

If you go to the Yellow pages, all areas in Florida have Home Inspectors. Most have licensed roof inspectors in their resume or on staff. When we just sold, the guy who did the inspection also did the roof as he had the roof certificate from the State. The State also has a web site that has roof construction requirements. because of the hurricane codes.
