Our management company does a poor job of tracking architectural violations after we report them. I would like to set up a simple spreadsheet/database to keep track of violations by date and the status of repairs. Does anyone have a template for such a database? If not, I will set one up and share it with anyone interested.

Suggest you hire a new Management Company. Any reputable MC should be able to do this task...Remember, the Management Company's Contract is with the Board..You are paying for a service & they are not providing that service. One of the Board's chief fidicuary duties is to amintain property values.!

I have to agree that this is unaccepatble.

We manage our own association, and I track violations via dated letters we send and an 'open status' file. I check the file once a week and follow up.

If I can do it as one person, I am sure a good MC could easily do it. That is their job, and what they get paid for.

Good luck,
Lisa

Did you ever develop such a database? We would be interested if you did! Thanks -Stonegate Subdivision
