We currently have 9 candidates on our ballot due to counted in a few weeks. We have the majority of the current board ( 3) running together ( along with 2 original homeowners who have served uber times.. many years ) marketing themselves as the DREAM TEAM

What kind of message would this send to you if you got a flyer in the mail asking for your vote as a block of 5?

It would all depend on the current condition of the property and the performance of the current Board members.

Where does your property stand today? Have the values increased? Is the property in good financial condition? Well maintained? In general terms what would you grade the Board's performance?

Running as a block of 5 is in election tactics is a smart thing to do for those making up the 5. Supporting each other results in increasing the votes for each member of the block.

Is that a bad thing to have mutual support for fellow Board members? Hard to say it depends on what you are getting from the Board.

Sometimes new members are not a good thing and sometimes long serving Board members need to be replaced. This depends for me on the job they have done and are doing.

Let us know how the election turns out.

The current majority had not observed the reserve study, and over all the property on just looks alone could get a C-. We have torn window coverings but they feel this can wait until next year.

Our property values have gone down and we have had many forclosuers over the last year. Our current board majority is constantly making "misttakes" including having to reschedule our annual meeting 3 times. First time as ballote went out too late, the second due to weeks before we noted they did not properly vote for a "proctor' and now due to the same reason of late ballots.!

Tammy,

I wouldn't have a feelings about it at all! Candidates do it all the time. My State Sen. runs on the same ticket with the 2 Reps every election. Just because these 5 candidates are running together doesn't mean you have to vote for each of them. Vote for whomever you feel will do the best job.
