I am drafting a resolution for the use of our association attorney. Do any of you have bylaws, rules, instructions, resolutions, etc. on how your Board is allowed to use your attorney? Suggestions for resolution are welcome.

Dale,

Our Board President is the only person authorized to contact the lawyer re: association matters. And that is only when the other Board members know of the purpose and okay it . At $250 or more per hour, you do not want just anyone to have access to that kind of time and billing from him. It also depends on how much for legal fees are in your Budget so use him sparingly.
