I have heard that when an owner gets behind on the COA dues that the association can only recoup up to 6 monthes of the dues when the condo is resold...When i purchased my condo out of foreclosure the company that did the title search paid my association over a year of dues, but my association cam told me that the statutes only allows an association to recoup only 6 monthes of the behind dues....does anyone know if this is true and if so where can i find the statute...thanks Kevin
