Where can I get reliable info on insurers that will cover a 6000 sq ft clubhouse. It's not easy in Florida at this time. I would like to give the Board some options. Thanks

Try the local CAI chapters in Florida. A number of their members will be insurers or their agents. It's at least a place to start. Go to:

http://www.caionline.org/about/aboutchap.cfm

Scroll down to Florida and try the links. Some will have membership directories and you can probably contact the rest for more information.

Also, check with local management companies as they will probably have been through the search process for their clients.

Hello Jim -

While my office is located here in Salt Lake City, we handle HOA's nationwide including numerous HOA accounts in Florida.

I'd be happy to put together an insurance proposal for your board!
