Gerald, thank you so much.

I did take your advice as the after I posted regarding angry emails I did get one more. It was specific about asking me and another board member to step down but this time with the names of the parties involved and of course forwarded to the whole board and our management company.

First of all I called the managment company. To find out what they spin was. They are not impressed and said , yes, this makes us feel uncomfortable, and plan to address the issue in our next meeting.. about what an appropriate email is, and when they should be cc'd. ( love it!)

I sent the following to him, and cc'd it to the whole baord, including our managment company.
Stated,..how ever valid they are to you or others should be discussed in our executive session or personally . You have had several opportunities to do so, but have not. Instead the less direct way of sending sarcastic, unprofessional comments with every chance you have behind a computer screen. First you harassed **** when I first came on the board, it took only 2 weeks before I was getting the same. Who is next?

You are aware that your email to me as follows is sarcastic, considered cyber bullying, improper conduct from a Board member, and if it continues will be legally actionable since I am putting you on notice to immediately stop and conduct yourself like a gentleman.". That is within the ds act, ccrs and bylaws, not local or federal enforcement.

It worked! I also made it known that due to the 12+ emails from this person which I have on file I was forced to block his email address and only wished to interact with him at our HOA meetings!
As I was trying to prevent any further harassement to me, and possible legal actions such as a restraining order. Guess what.... SHE BACKED OFF AND DIDN'T RESPOND. But the hate emails stopped on my end anyway.

WHOO WHOO thanks Gerald.

Hi NoelleC - Well that's good news you stood up for yourself, took action, and put it in writing. I truly hope this will get you both on solid ground. Sometimes that's all it takes and the bully then understands and some mutual respect can occur. Never forget, all it took was a bucket full of water for little girl from Kansas to end decades of tyranny. Those present were forever grateful. Maybe you should bring a bucket full of confetti to your next BOD meeting and whoever acts up will get it dumped on their head!! Best of luck to you. GeraldT4
