I am a board member of my Florida and Michigan homeowners associations. I am well aware of Florida's 720.303. Does Michigan have similar compiled legislation?

I don't think so. There should be, but I don't think that there are Acts.

The State Attorney General oversees all corporations, include not-for-profits.

Michigan has a Condo Act for condos, but HOA's/POA's come under the ancient Land Sales Act. Nothing specific for them.
