Can nayone help me out on this subject. I need to know the proper steps to remove a Board Member from their position. This particular Member has abused their position for their personal gain. It now it seems the whole Board were involved except for one Board Member that was left out in the loop. Since then this one Board Member was not elected since he was the only member on stop of the Property Management company amd the Board. Any info would be appreciated.

Someone on the board makes a motion to remove so and so from the position of (pres, v. pres, sec, or trea) Someone seconds, then any discussion, then a vote. Be aware that is not removing that person from the board, only his position on the board. Only members can remove board members.
But then you went on to say all members of the board but one are alleged in compliance with this "abuse of position," and that member is no longer on the board. So I am confused as to why or who on the board then would agreed to doing this.

Harold points out the issue. Are you removing someone from an office on the board or are you removing a board member from the board? Big difference. There has been several recent posts on the second subject that defines what needs to be done and is specific to Arizona. Please check out other posts.

That's a pretty broad accusation.("for personal gain")

EACH Board member deserves a hearing on the "charges" and a personal recall. If restitution is in order, the Association may have to bring in the police.

What exactly are the offenses?

I AM CURIOUS AS WELL. What are his offenses? What is his "personal gain"?
