Our community (local municipal government) has a wonderful program for helping HOAs and other similar organizations be successful.
Was curious how many others had similar local government support? Here is an example of the types of things they do:

Homeowners Association Training Sessions
Mayor XXXXXXXX wants to provide you with tools to make our community the best hometown possible. The Mayorâs Neighborhood Toolbox Tuesdays are designed to help you learn new tips and share best practices. These workshops are meant to focus on the inner-workings of your association and strengthen your homeowners association. Strong neighborhoods are an important aspect of a thriving community.

March 18 âKeeping the Lights Onâ
Many Homeowner Associations provide vital services to their communities, such as streetlights and trash collection, paid for through mandatory assessments of the homeowners. But collection can be difficult and problems can arise when people donât pay. Learn about tools and strategies to help your association collect assessments and tips for getting back on track when collections have fallen behind.
March 25 âBuilding the Organizationâ
Discusses promoting resident involvement and support of the association, recruiting board members, building the organization through community activities, creating websites and newsletters.
