I recently found myself trying to understand my HOA's pet rules after my mental health provider suggested an emotional support animal could be helpful for my anxiety. It was honestly more confusing than I expected because there was so much conflicting information online.

While researching, I came across My ESA Therapist, which helped me understand what a legitimate ESA evaluation looks like and why proper documentation matters.
I'm curious if anyone else has had to navigate HOA questions about an ESA. What was your experience like?

We have one case of this issue as an owner is battling panarctic cancer and an emotional support animal was requested. We looked at the federal laws and determined that the owner may have an emotional support dog. This dog is bigger than what our guidelines allow. This owner still has the dog and not one of the eighty-four owners have questioned this Board position.

Another post with "My ESA Therapist" capitalized, which is the name of a "letter mill" website. Admin please delete this post and block this users account!
