This one suggests 10 questions you might want to ask yourself before making big decisions. Decision making (or being too skurred to do so) is an underlying issue in many of the discussions on this website, so you might want to look at this to think about how YOU approach decisions about rule enforcement policies, setting budgets and other stuff in HOA land. This could also be a good way to talk to board members to see just how much thought (if any) they put into making decisions. It's not about you agreeing per se, but board members should apply careful thought to the issues and be able to explain why they think the decision was in the best interest of the community - and you should be able to go to any board member to have this discussion. They may have slightly different reasons for their vote, but that's ok too. Enjoy!
