Does anyone know where I can find exactly what the responsibilities of a CAM Firm in Florida are?

We are trying to get our condo website set up to be in compliance with Statute 718 and the changes that went into effect today.

I would think that it would be based on the individual contract with Associations.

You can find the responsibilites for your CAM in the contract your COA signed with them. Which should be published on your website.

Every contract is different. It's hard to imagine a property management company that doesn't offer a website for you, unless you have a very bare bones contract. FS 718 has a list of everything that needs to be on the website.

I would question your board as to why this hasn't been taken care of before now. We have known about this requirement for two years. It's not news that websites were going to be required.

There are also specific education requirements for Florida condo board members. If your board members were up to date on education, they would have known about this. There are tons of webinars and articles about the new requirements.
