For all coastal communities, well, for everyone!

I know here in south Texas we worry about hurricane season, or as I like to call it, JASON season.

There is a website that I found a few years ago that I am hoping is okay to share with all of y'all. They have updates and no hype reporting on what's going on out there in the Atlantic AND Pacific. Today they were talking about the storm south of Arizona.

www.theeyewall.com

This website is very helpful and I hope it can help others as well. If the post isn't removed, please share with anyone you know. They are great weather guys!

Thanks for posting.

With hurricanes, floods and all sorts of pestilence affecting the planet, it wouldn't hurt for everyone to set up some sort of evacuation plan. Check this out from the American red cross - https://www.redcross.org/get-help/how-to-prepare-for-emergencies/make-a-plan.html#:~:text=Download%20Template%20%3E%3E,Apple%20Store%20%C2%BB%20or%20Google%20Play%20%C2%BB

I believe the CAI website has also published information on how HOAS can also prepare a disaster plan - go to that website and see what's there or extrapolate the red cross information to develop a plan for your community. In the meantime, everyone stay safe!

Coastal Virginia here …. FEMA has publications for constructing residential “ safe rooms “ for those who might choose to ride out the storms . I plan on constructing one soon , and will stay put .
