First I want to say I despise being lied to and not told the truth. With that said, all our property manager had to do was tell the
truth upfront or perhaps they were unaware.

One of the issues regarding our pool upkeep was non-elected bureaucrats making policy and rules regarding pool and spa regulations.

The SNHD changed the rules regarding pool and spa drains that goes beyond the standards set in the Virginia Graeme Baker law. to new S.O.F.A.
regulations. I was told last year that the drain collar was cracked and needed to be replaced. The drain collar being cracked was a lie which
really ticked me off. This was the reason why the re plastering took so long. Not only is there new drain standards that need to be met, the health
district is now required to inspect the re plastering too. Not enough inspectors and too many inspections to complete lead to long wait times.

I only found out about the SOFA drain requirement through another pool vendor that came to my job site and I struck up a conversation with him
and he dropped the SOFA acronym. For some reason I feel duped.

The Pool finally opened last week yet many residents are ticked off spouting on ND that the board is careless despite posting the
SNHD SOFA link it still don't change minds.

In a tourist city like Vegas, it is a bit concerning that no one on your board was familiar with the new pool drain standards because I am rather certain upgrading pool drains is a thing there.
