We had an election October 2024 and it was a fair election two new people won the election and now the president do not want these two people on the board. I recommended that since the president is not abiding by our bylaws, we all should come together and get her put off the board, but these people are afraid of this president because she start retaliating against them, assessing fines and other things what can be done in a situation like this,

The president is only one vote - how many people are on the board? There shouldn't be any problem with outvoting her on any association issue. There has to be a violation before anyone can be fined for anything and there's a process to all that, so these board members may be overreacting. The lady may be president but she's not God.

In most communities, homeowners elect board members, who then appoint officers from among themselves, like president, so the board could hold an executive session to discuss inappropriate actions if there's been any. It may be necessary to censure the president or vote to relieve her of the position and someone will have to be appointed in her place. She can remain on the board unless voted out in the next election, resigns or is recalled.

If you're on the board, you should already know know this - read your documents again to refresh your memory. If not, read them to see if recalls are addressed. You may need to petition the board to hold a special meeting to discuss the matter and take a vote. You will need to find some like minded neighbors who agree and are willing to help. Perhaps applying pressure to the rest of the board will be enough for them to hold an executive session.

You do realize you'll probably ake an enemy of the president, don't you? It may get ugly, so decide how far you're willing to go and good luck.
