I am the President of the Master Association. We are a small community of 18 townhomes (it has it's own association and it's own BOD) and the condo's which is a building with 57 owners (it too has it's own association of 3 BOD - 1 which quit). 1) the condo association owes the Master money for dues contributions from 2024 and 2) money for trash services for 2024. My question is - can the Master Assn take the Condo Assn to court for collections of those funds or have an atty go after the Condo Assn?? The property management company is poor at best - that is a whole other story.

BarbaraC27, first, I presume these are also two corporations. Corporations sue one another all the time. Second,if the covenants are clear that the condo association must pay the Master Association x amount of money for y services et cetera, then yes, the Master can sue the condo association and potentially prevail.
