This one talks about CEOs changing their thinking about emerging issues and not using yesterday's mindset to address them.
As always, I find many of these articles can apply to HOA boards, and in this case, how many times do we hear board members and homeowners say "we've always done X this way and we don't wanna change"? You may have board colleagues who think like this, but that doesn't mean YOU can't consider this article to see how you approach various issues. Einstein said something about the futility of resolving problems with the same mindset that created them, so as we continue to wrestle with outdated documents, making meetings more effective, analyzing spending trends in the budget and that stuff, we might also consider the way we approach these problems.
