One of our recent threads went a different path.

The OP original thread wanted to know if they had a non-legit President (not even on the deed) actions can they be held accountable. Lot of conversation on the topic. It's a good topic but actually it is losing the discovery information with the OP issue.

If you all want to continue the conversation here that will be great.

Because a different thread was started, I thought I would include the link to the article I found.
This way, if a future poster only comes across this thread, they have a resource.

Here is an interesting article that (toward the end) looks at what might happen if someone isn't qualified to serve:

HOA Board Member Disqualified: What Happens to Actions He Participated In? From HOA Leader

Again, it starts out not being applicable to the issue being discussed. However, at the end of the article, it is very relevant.

Thanks Tim for keeping the ball rolling with your post.

Your thoughts on the matter. Excellent article.

I for one think the decision was made and it's something in the past. If in now week one it was voted on 3-2. Before any action was taken and it was found out the guy or gal was not legit then you can do something like in week 2. Otherwise the horse already left the barn. Your thoughts and others views on this.
