I want to state that most of my post have been answered in a very smart, and uninformative reply, which is the opposite of why we post to start with.
I would like to challenge, these persons to figure this out to show, just how smart you are by addressing this problem as it persist, and affects, the actual life, assets, and continuance of my association.
What would be behind the property management stating to a owner,
"If I cant get you on the note,I'll get you on the deed".
What would be behind this comment?

Not enough info to make an educated guess.

Context is needed.

Wild Guess....

A couple seeks to buy a house, but it's purchased under one person's name for mortgage borrowing purposes. It, therefore, makes the other partner feel vulnerable.

Why a property manager would say that isn't something I understand. It seems to be a more legal question.

Just a guess on my part.

I am assuming the note means the mortgage. It is not uncommon to exclude a person with bad credit from the mortgage. The mortgage company may allow a second party to be listed as an owner on the deed or as having a transfer on death benefit to the equity.
