Florida HOA. What are the requirements that the Board has to follow when scheduling a last minute meeting? It was not called an emergency meeting.

Was this a last minute meeting of the Board or the general membership?
FL HOAs typically have two major statutes that they need to comply with.
One being FL Homeowners’ Association Act (aka FL 720) and, if incorporated (most are but check to be sure) Florida Not For Profit Corporation Act (aka FL 617)
Notice requirements would be in those two statutes and your governing documents (typically the Bylaws).
