They are addressing the annoying islands in the roads. Mine being the largest. They are not installed right basically and badly maintained. My neighbors will park on them! The other ones are not bad but people still park too close so can not clear it.

Well had someone go off yesterday. They were upset they did not remove the whole thing. Plus they still had cones up as not finished. They were cussing because they left cones! Duh!

Trying to explain to people the purpose of them is just like trying to teach stupid. They are there because there are cross walks there. They are to slow drivers down in cross areas. Mine is there as no cross walk but sewer pipe sets too high.

They plan to just shorten the mounds to allow those who have driveways blocked access. It is difficult to back out. People are upset as not being fully removed.

One of my neighbors just stayed they can now have people park in front of their house... There is no parking on the streets!

Have a feeling my two neighbors will now have their friends park on the street now making it worse to get in and out. Where they would park would effect some of us backing up or getting mail...

Just had to vent and update...

I just don't get it, why do people park like A-Holes!!!!

Things sure are different since I fist got my license in 88. I can remember when I was younger. Cops could
write parking tickets at the mall on people that double parked, parking over the line, back in parking etc. That was just on mall lots.
Om street parking was a whole different animal, you could literally have your car towed and impounded if you parked where you were not
allowed to park. In the inner city you were screwed if your car was impounded from Friday 2pm to Monday 8am.. Having your car impounded in Cleveland
meant going to the courthouse and get a release. The suburbs you could just show up at the impound lot... We need to have these life lessons again,
maybe it would make people think twice on how they park their cars.

When mentioned about the car parked for several days in the one lane of the island, neighbor whines it was her birthday... So she let a friend park car there... Well where was your car since driveway and garage space was free?

Her last post was in May. I do hope she's OK and has just gotten fed up with the noise around here. :-)

I agree that Melissa is not Dawn or Dean. They don't sound like her at all. I am curious to know what happened to her. She was a very regular poster. I clashed with her a number of times but I hope she is okay.

Can you prove it? There are several dual egos on this forum.

sure just use any AI writer and ask it to write something in a different tone and it sounds like a different preson wrote it. I have no interest in proving indivisual cases.

Ai apparently is the answer to everything...

What AI can't do yet is capture the emotional affect of a person's writing. A person's use of language is as distinctive as their facial features. And people who are skilled with language can identify a person by their writing, the same way musicians can often tell who has written an unfamiliar piece or who is playing a particular instrument. Melissa had/has a very identifiable style of writing - if she's here and disguising that, she's one of the more skilled deceivers I've ever come across.

I can still pick out most AI writing. It's "flat", and there is a falseness about it that isn't in the writing of even an unskilled human. In fact, the unskilled writers are often easiest to identify as human. AI is more successful with very stylized communication where human "personality" in constrained - exactly what this website is not.

As for people on this site having alter egos... aside from preserving anonymity, why? Unless you've developed a reputation for annoying everyone, and you want to shed your reputation and keep posting. (Hint: your writing style will out you eventually.)

It sounds like you might not have had the experience of being a teacher and grading hundreds of papers. From that perspective, you start to notice that language tends to be quite similar, just like how most people share the same basic facial features.

I don't think Wendy has the teaching experience. One way to know is s/he constantly misspelled "lose" as "loose" for many months. As did another poster with a different name, but the exact same style of writing.

I do appreciate Wendy's creativity & hard work for their HOA.

Let me tell you certain individuals that the way you treat people who don't use the correct spelling,or another paragraph, or where a comma should go is irrelevant. People comes here for support of a hoa,not English lessons from assholes like you and others.
You and others make people feel stupid, less than, and not welcomed here..
No support at all..
Keep up the discrimination work, you ate so well at it.
