We have just had our Annual Meeting and elected our board of directors for the next two years. Can you tell me the correct way to handle the ballots/proxies now? We had both mail in and at the meeting votes.

Thanks,
Jonnie

Enter the results in the minutes of the annual meeting or the next official minutes. Aftert that you candispose of the ballots. Unless there are other issues you voted on such as changes to the covenants whihc must be kept forever.

Unless your doc's state otherwise you may need to hold them for one year as they are part of your official business.

By our covenants and State laws, we are require to hold our ballot for a year as well.

Hang on to them...better safe than sorry.

Thank you Jim, Fred, and Lisa.

The only issue was election of officers, so the ballots were put in an envelope, sealed, and filed. After one year they will be tossed.
Thanks again for your responses.
