I decided to just use my HOA to force it to disband. Who needs a HOA with all its rules and money issues? I surely do not. My board sucks anyways as they are all friends and neighbors. I swear they get kick backs from vendors and the PM. It should not cost any money to sue outside of the filing fees. Which I should get back when I win.

HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY!!!

Well, since you brought this up . . .

Annual Meeting was Saturday morning. The Association in which we reside is located in a NE corner of the DFW Metroplex, beneath one of the primary airways into DFW and Love when ATC has traffic from the E and NE inbound from the north when the airports are landing north to south. The aircraft are still a few thousand feet high when they pass over and can be seen but almost never heard.

An owner texted the President Friday evening asking what the HOA can do to have the air traffic rerouted around the association between 0600 and 0800 each day.

The Board did not respond or bring it up during the meeting. Perhaps it was an April Fool's message a bit early. Or not.

You laugh about this, but I got an email earlier this year from someone who wanted the HOA to contact the airport and make them stop flying so many planes over the neighborhood. We are at least 10 miles from the airport but depending on the winds the planes do sometimes take off or land over the community (but pretty high up). This guy was convinced they had changed the traffic pattern and more planes were flying over.

I once saw an interview with a home buyer the news ran. They said they were excited about moving here but did not like the airplanes flying over so much!

My former house was in path of two airports. One military. It depends on the wind if we got the international flights overhead. Now I live near private or small airport. Sure some will complain here too.

That would be a good joke to play though! We have another high income HOA trying to get a new post office built to serve them... True story...
