I have a multi-point rant and I am to the point where I'm ready to say bleep it.

First, we have a vacancy on our board and I am trying to find an owner that is willing to serve.

I honestly feel we need to get rid of our PMC. There's just too much foolery and a series of buffalo chips
that are piling up a change is needed.

Rain in the Park, There is an owner that lives next to the park. Their rear block wall is stained white with
calcium from a broken irrigation line. Either one of two things is true. The PMC has not communicated this with the
landscapers or the landscapers have not fixed the issue. Based on the PMC's email response that this is normal and one should treat
your block wall with a water sealant tells me the issue has not been fixed.

Our Gates are constantly failing, and the motors and electronics are fairly new. There have been a few components in this system that
have been replaced in the last 3 years. The property I work at has the same gate operators and opens and closes hundreds of times a day
from 6pm to 6am 24/7 365 and has hardly ever failed on my watch, why is that?

On a recent repair trip the gate repair company, their repair person, instead of temporarily removing the call box and ordering a new lock.
this repair person took it upon themself to jerry rig it and drill two huge head screws on each side at the top of the call box to hold
the electronic panel in place. When I saw that, I was livid. The PMC seems ah oh well.

The silly part is, all the usual gong bangers on ND want changes but they don't want to get involved, go figure.

Many many years ago our BOD at my condo couldn’t find volunteers for vacancies. The president then paid himself a handsome amount as a “ consultant for an ____ upgrade. When that got out the stack of candidate forms for board positions was thicker than the Manhattan yellow pages .

I forgot to add this tidbit. I saw the post about payment coupons and thought at first this was my HOA.
I can't wrap my head around our PM's reason for not sending out payment coupons in a timely matter. Our
meeting to raise assessments for the next year was in September, and the budget was officially ratified in October.
Payment coupons should have immediately gone out. The PM was tap dancing about, well the last meeting was in December
yadda yadda yadda..

I'm sick of excuses. Yes, postage would cost $240.00 to send out payment coupons in October and another $240. To
send out the end of year beginning of the new year newsletter. I am just tired of excuses, as are the owners in my community.

I spent two years getting rid of our PMC. 50they sort of rigged our first election, which bought them a year and a half. But January the new company started and we’re looking at improvements soon.

Good luck to you.

I didn't know the name of the song. However, I remember it as well.
