when I saw it, I reported it immediately. Possible phishing or malware is what concerned me more than anything. Glad the website moderators took care of this quickly.

This stuff often hits in the early morning (EST) when I'm posting. My computer is pretty thoroughly locked down, but I always run additional scans to make sure it hasn't been infected and that I'm doing the spamming. That would be embarrassing ...

I suspect somebody's computer is infected with malware and is spewing this stuff without them being aware of it. It's just too dopey and ineffective to be intentional.

People posting attachments does not help. That is why I do not open them or avoid opening links. The HOATalk is being picked up if someone is hacked.
