Judge issued order for board not to share my personal information.
The other issues she will review with research and issue findings by mail.

Define personal information?

As defined by law, name, address, email address, mailing address.
This will prevent further personal attacks at meetings; otherwise, it's contempt of court.

So your address on your house is personal? That means tax records that are public can not be found with name and address? Most of the time the limit is email address and phone numbers.

Congrats

Are you sending a 'demand letter' outlining what your asking them to do and giving them a date to comply, before small claims action?

Probably not going to do that from their pat postings. It costs them 5K to file a lawsuit. So what does it matter?

Claim was 5 violations of the Open Meeting Act which the judge is considering.
There were 3 records requests. All were denied until I filed suit. They produced the minutes which was a transcript with man errors and they produced 2 years of legal invoices. Then they sent letter from their attorney, agenda, minutes, 2 years legal invoices and my claim to ALL 67 of our members jus to harass me. Then I filed a Request or Order forbidding board from sharing my name, address, email, phone number, which the judge granted. And, I submitted a Bar complaint about board's lawyer for sending my personal info in violation of law and my opt-out. Today I received first hate mail as a result of the mailing. More evidence of the board's harassment.

You are right. That must be done first.

Define harrassment. Plus let's discuss the "poking the bear" and not liking it when the bear bites back... You have to take some responsibility for your actions. Did you think others are just going to lay there and take your opinion? You are suing everyone of your neighbors. I don't know a single neighbor who would not be pissed about that.

Have another cocktail.
Under what laws are persons punished for their opinion? Melissa's law!

So you admit you sent your HOA letter. Did you not put your name and other contact information on this letter? Now it is a HOA record. It is admissable in court by your HOA. It is also viewable by the board and membership. Now you want to claim personal attacks and block your PII? You have it in a record that is allowed to be viewed. The HOA can not control what people do with that information

Huh? See the first post. The judge ruled it is not viewable by the membership.

Your nonsense and lies are disrupting this thread.

Melissa. Terri already had opted out of her personal information being shared BY THE ASSOCIATION with anyone including all other owners. You keep sabotaging posts, which is a very unfriendly unhelpful thing to do. In the past you've termed your approach "tough love," but it's just nasty harassment of posters who want well-grounded, trustworthy advice.

Damn, Terri, I tho't you were going to resist responding to Melissa. You mentioned cocktails, but based on her own definition of her self, deep-fried Oreos are her bliss.

(Of course, anyone can go to the county, blah, blah. That is NOT the point.)

Oh so if you had a neighbor who sued or is always suing your HOA, you would hug them when saw them? Give me a break. I don't see any board member or any member embracing someone who sues them. It's not like you can hide your identity in the process either. That is a pipe dream.

Seriously what does one consider "Harrassment" or "hate mail". Hmmm... If it was really that, then that is a law issue NOT an HOA one. That would be criminal.

You act like you sue your HOA for only "5K" and they should lay down and take it. If they had done things right or your way then they would not be sued. Well If I was a member of your HOA and noticed we could no longer have "Nice things", I would be not so nice. Your forcing my money to go toward legal expenses that I don't want involved with. That money also could have gone to another project. Now there is no money for a project I may want. What is my response going to be? Great there goes Terri again with her lawsuits... Oh wait was that comment Harrassment and hate? Gee I think it is well deserved comment and opinion to express if I want to.

We simply list the property address and amount owed. The claim and the lien are against the property, not so much the individual. Anyone could pay the amount owed, a new buyer, owner, parents, etc.

If someone wants to look up the owner at town hall, its easy enough for them to do on their own.
