Our yard faces a large retention pond and extents out a good 25 ft. There's a 20 ft slop leaning towards the pond. However, lately we are having homeowner walking through to walk their dogs or just walking through. Is there something we can do about it? We understand that it's an easement but we feel an invasion of privacy.

Why is it an invasion of privacy exactly? Put up a fence or window shades. It is common property most likely owned by the HOA. No one has exclusive use to it.

Jose,
Was the retention pond built after you purchased? I am going to guess no. If this was an issue you should have seen it coming.

I always tell people that when you are buying a property you need to keep your eyes "Wide Open" and once you buy maybe keep your eyes "Half Closed".

Not much you are going to be able to do about this IMO.

Are these other people walking on your property on on common area? How much of your property is subject to easement, who is the easement granted to, and for what purpose?
